Un Tink est un tatouage temporaire dessiné par un artiste en édition limitée : Tink, c’est l’abréviation de Temporary Ink. Accessoire artistique pour la peau, le Tink se présente aussi comme un nouveau support d'expression, vivant et mobile, pour les créateurs contemporains.
Chaque artiste, lorsqu’il crée un Tink, investit un espace de 10 x 15 cm comme il le souhaite : il peut y placer un ou plusieurs tatouages. Un Tink est un objet rare : 500 coffrets et pas un de plus sont édités pour chaque artiste... soyez réactifs !

Techniquement?

Le Tink s’applique très facilement soi même comme une décalcomanie avec des encres de bonne qualité.
Tous les Tinks sont produits en France avec des encres hypoallergéniques certifiées aux normes CE.

Comment puis-je poiser mon Tink? Six étapes clefs:

1/ Enlevez le plastique transparent qui protège le Tink
2/ Collez le Tink sur une peau propre, saine et sans poils
3/ Humidifiez bien un tissu (serviette, éponge, coton...)
4/ Pressez le Tink avec le tissu humidifié pendant 30 bonnes secondes
5/ Retirez délicatement le carton (vous pouvez
vérifier avant que le Tink a bien adhéré en soulevant les coins)
6/ Laissez sécher 30 secondes et passez délicatement votre éponge humide sur le tatouage pour retirer la colle. 

Combien de temps reste-t-il sur la peau ?

Le Tink est imaginé pour être porté le temps d’une soirée ou d’un événement particulier, mais il peut durer jusqu’à 2 ou 3 jours si vous en prenez soin. Evitez le contact prolongé avec les vêtements, l’eau et les frottements.
Comme vous avez deux Tinks par coffret, vous pouvez prolonger l’expérience, la réitérer plus tard ou collectionner le 2ème Tink...

Comment puis-je enlever mon Tink ?

Le tatouage s’enlève très facilement avec un coton imbibé d’alcool ou de démaquillant. Le plus efficace est le dissolvant, mais il ne convient pas forcément à toutes les peaux...

Qu’y-a-t-il dans le coffret?

Pour chaque artiste, un coffret en carton rigide, au format DVD, personnalisé et édité en 500 exemplaires se compose comme suit:

- sur la couverture, le visuel pur du Tink
- en page intérieure gauche, une photographie du Tink en situation
- en page intérieure droite, une encoche contenant les 2 Tinks (identiques) de l’artiste
- au dos, un texte sur l’artiste et sur le Tink en particulier, en Français et Anglais

Y a t-il une date de péremption du Tink ?

Bonne question : la réponse est oui. La technique de la décalcomanie implique que les encres ne sèchent pas sur le papier, ce qui garantit un effet plus naturel sur la peau. Pour préserver l’adhésion et la vivacité des couleurs de votre Tink, il est conseillé de l’utiliser dans les 6 mois après l’achat et de le conserver dans un endroit sec.

What is a Tink?

A Tink is a temporary tattoo designed by an artist as a limited edition. Tink stands for Temporary Ink.
An artistic accessory for skin, a Tink is also a new live and mobile medium for contemporary creators. Each artist who designs a Tink is offered a 10 x 15 cm (... inch) area, where he can create as many tattoos as he wants, from a big one to five small ones.
A Tink is a rarity: not more than 500 setboxes are released for each artist... be reactive!

How does it work technically?

A Tink can be applied as easily as a decal, with good quality inks.
All Tinks are made in France with cosmetic inks that have the CE certification.

How do I apply my Tink? Six key steps :

1/ Remove the plastic sheet that protects the Tink
2/ Position the Tink on a clean and healthy skin with no hairs
3/ Moisturize a sponge, a towel or a cottonpad
4/ Press the moisturized material on the Tink for 30 seconds
5/ Gently remove the sheet of paper (first check that the Tink stuck to the skin by lifting a corner of the paper)
6/ Let it dry for 30 seconds and very gently wipe the tattoo clean with the moisturized material to remove the glue.

How long does it last ?

A Tink is expected to be worn during a party or a special event, but it can last 2 days if you take care of it. Avoid a long contact with cloth, water and friction.
Since you get 2 Tinks in each box set, you can extend the experience or reiterate it later on or even collect one.

How can I remove my Tink ?

You can remove your Tink very easily with alcohol or make-up remover and a cotton pad.
A nail dissolvent is most efficient but it is not advised on all skins.

What do I get in the box set ?

 

For each artist, a personalized rigid setbox in a DVD format is released in 500 numbered copies and comprises:

- on the cover, the image of the Tink
- on the inner left page, a photograph of the Tink in situ
- on the inner right page, a notch with 2 identical Tinks
- on the spine, a texte about the artist and the Tink

Is there an expiration date for my Tink ?

Good question: the answer is yes. Decal technique implies that the inks don’t dry on the paper, which ensures a natural effect on the skin. To preserve adhesion and colour intensity, we advise you to store it in a dry place and to use it six months at the most after the date of purchase..
